The big news is that President Macron announced that France will be open to American tourists (with proof of vaccination or negative PCR) beginning June 9th! It seems like ages ago that I could travel freely without worrying about whether I had the right residency documents with me, so this is a welcome change if you ask me.
The real question is: will you actually be able to do anything in Paris if you come? Here is the tentative schedule as of now:
Again, all of this is completely tentative, but I'm glad to finally see that a re-opening plan has finally been put in place. With hospitals still overwhelmed, this plan could change at any moment, of course.
In other news, French makeup artist Violette launched her own makeup brand. The red lip color looks divine!
Sabina Socol seems to be working on her own fashion brand – it's the fashionable thing to do I suppose ;)
A reality TV show based on the ever-popular Emily in Paris is in the works. I've had two producers reach out to me asking if I know someone who would like to be cast, so please, if you feel that you are the real "Emily," do let me know!
I have gotten so into YouTube since the second confinement! Anyone else? Watch Carla Bruni share her icons with Vogue Paris, if so.
